ARTS + CRAFTS: artistic expressions in honor of earth day 2015

In celebration of Earth Day, Fairmont students demonstrate their creativity by re-purposing common recyclables into art. In March, the art pieces were displayed at the MUZEO Museum and Cultural Center in Anaheim as part of the museum’s annual "TrashArtist Competition."  

There are no limits to what a child can do with their imagination!

Monday is Earth Day! I love that we have a holiday dedicated to our beautiful planet. I try to instill a love of nature into my kids daily, but there's nothing wrong with a little reminder. Here is a cute craft from spoonful.com that will last longer than just a day, will beautify your home, and will teach your kids about how nature works! You'll only need a few things to get started. So go get planting!
