The Cougars took the field on Thursday full of high hopes and energy, but despite their valiant efforts, fell short, losing to the Mission Hills Saints.  Quarterback Cole M. had some good throws and is working hard to connect with his receivers, Hussain A. had several excellent, quick, cutting runs to get the Cougars a touchdown!  Nathan L. was skilled on the offensive and defensive ends of the field, also kicking the ball extremely well.

The DSL football team will be back in action on Thursday, October 21 vs the Fairmont Mable Panthers.

Final Score: Cougars Win 25-23, 25-15!!

The DSL Lady Cougars came to play on Thursday for their first home game, and ousted the Saints in two games 25-23, 25-15.  The volleyball team was on fire with their serving and controlled the tempo of the game.  Jessica C. started the game winning the first 5 serves.  Lauren M. and Kushi K. were forces to be reckoned with when they reached the service line for their serves also.  Keeley D. and Marie V. were offensively geared and helped the Lady Cougars dominate in front of their home crowd!

The DSL volleyball team will be back in action on Thursday, October 21 vs the Fairmont Mable Panthers.

Final Score: Cougars Win 25-18, 25-20

The Lady Cougars continue their ‘winning ways’ defeating the Carden Hall Eagles in an exciting game.  The Eagles looked like a formidable opponent as they stepped on to the court, but our mighty Lady Cougars were not intimidated.  They brought the force and determination that they have brought to every game this season and defeated the Eagles 25-18, 25-20.  The Lady Cougars are now 5-0 and are just gaining momentum as they move through the season.  Kudos to Coach Marcus Arias, as he has done a wonderful coaching job and encourages the team with every hit.

The Girls Volleyball team will be playing the Edgewood Eagles on Monday at Edgewood at 3:15…come out and cheer them on to their goal of Tri-Way Champs!

Final Score:  Cougars WIN 25-15, 25-11

The Lady Cougars were on fire against the Pegasus Thunder, earning their first volleyball victory over them!  The Lady Cougars were determined and fierce, not allowing any pre-game jitters to deter them from their victory goal of finishing the game with a win and earning a league record of 4-0!  They were composed and calm but not about to give up for one second.

The Lady Cougars play the Edgewood Eagles on Monday at Edgewood at 3:15pm.

Final Score:  Cougars WIN 26-6

The Cougars football team played brilliantly on Wednesday, and earned their first victory over the Pegasus Thunder!  They executed almost every play with precision and skill.  The defense held the Thunder to only one touchdown, while the Cougars scored four touchdowns!  Gordon L. had an amazing game, moving the ball down the field with big yardage runs.  The Cougar defense was on their game holding the Thunder back the entire game. The Cougars are now 4-1!

Come support the team as they take on the Edgewood Eagles on Monday, October 11 at the Edgewood campus at 3:15pm

Mable Panthers vs. Edgewood Eagles October 5, 2010

Final Score:  Fairmont Mable wins 25-12, 25-11

The Panthers beat the Eagles in girls’ volleyball 25-12, 25-11 at the Mable gym. The Panthers started the first game playing well, and their serving helped them with the 25-12 victory. Nathalie S. rallied off to serve 7 points while Jocelyn L. played very steady defensively for the team. Coming off the bench, Ali T. contributed with a few points to help capture the win. The next league game will be against Fairmont-Anaheim Hills campus on October 21.

AH Boys Tri-Way Football  vs Carden Hall Eagles

Final Score: Carden Hall Wins 16-8

It was a tough fight, with the Carden Hall Eagles coming out as the victors in the battle on Monday. The Eagles came out on top when they tackled quarterback, Kyle G. in the end zone for a safety.

The Cougars are back in action against the Pegasus Thunder on Wednesday, October 6 at Pegasus at 3:00pm.

The Lady Cougars game vs Carden Hall was postponed due to the rain.  The game has been re-scheduled to Thursday, October 7 at 3:00pm. The Lady Cougars will also play on Wednesday, October 6 vs the Pegasus Thunder at Pegasus at 3:00pm.
