SHOW & TELL
Congratulations Daisy Troop 950!
Fairmont Private Schools was well represented this past weekend at the Richard Nixon Library for the Girl Scouts 99th Birthday where they won 1st place for the Daisy Level art contest. The theme of the party was "Celebrating Differences". Our 1st grade Daisy girls entered in the Shoe Art contest themed "Walk a Mile in My Shoes" where each girl picked a color of the rainbow and create their own design. They were encouraged to be resourceful and "re-purpose" materials they had on hand for their project. Our young ladies may be small in size but super BIG with their creativity. Congratulations Daisy Troop 950. We're very proud of you.
Your Participation Requested for Fairmont's Annual Parent Survey
If the Anaheim Hills campus reaches 90% participation in the survey we will win a FREE DRESS DAY!! Please fill it out before March 30
By now, you should have received an email with our annual parent survey. To keep the survey anonymous the link was emailed to you from Options Marketing Research. The anonymous opinions and thoughts of all Fairmont parents in the survey are critical to our schools and highly valued. Last year we instituted a number of changes due to parent feedback-including this weekly eNewsletter! Please take 8 minutes to let us know what is working for you and what is not.
Thank you!
Bake Sale

The Bake Sale will be held on Wednesday, March 23.
Fifth Grade Square Dance Music Program
The 5th graders had a rip-roarin' time at their Square Dance Performance on March 8, 2011. Directed by our music specialist, Mrs. Zavoral, the show was complete with patriotic songs, percussion
instruments and traditional square dances. The show's highlight was when the performers pulled audience members onto the dance floor to learn how to dance!
Square dancing supports the 5th grade Social Studies units on American History. The dance style originated from colonial days and is still alive today, especially on the Anaheim Hills campus!
