FRIDAY FOLDER citron campus april 8

SHOW & TELL
Multicultural Day
Due to rain in the forecast for Friday the Multicultural Celebration has been rescheduled to Monday.
Multi-Cultural Day is a special opportunity for students to learn about different cultures around the world. We would like to invite all parents to join us on Friday, April 8th for a fashion show and potluck.

Fashion Show- Children can wear their cultural attire all day or wear free dress. The fashion show will begin at 10:15am. You must complete the 2nd portion of the flyer that was sent home to participate. Extra flyers are available in the front office. List the description as you would like it announced during the fashion show.

Potluck – Students may still order a school lunch or bring a home lunch. Preschool and Junior Kindergarten will have the same lunchtime at 11:30am. Kindergarteners will have lunch at 12:10pm. Students can only participate in the international potluck if a parent is on campus to accompany them.  We encourage parents to share one of their favorite food dishes and participate in our potluck. Food must be able to feed about 10 – 15 people. Please complete the portion of the flyer that was sent home to participate.

Character Counts
For the month of April our campus will observe the color purple for CITIZENSHIP.
Citizenship means doingyour share to make the community better. Students can learn citizenship by helping out in the community, volunteering, obeying laws and rules, and protect the environment. We will continue to recognize the children’s efforts in the area of Fairness, Respect, Trustworthiness, Caring, and Responsibility. Together with the help of our campus mascot “Hero”, the students will gain an understanding of the importance of good character.

Fun Educational Site
Our teachers will soon use a fun new site for eLearning called Education City. This new eLearning site will be available to students to use at home. Education City produces innovative content for children where educational games make learning fun for kids at home, and help to improve their academic performance. An I.D. number and password will be sent home in the next week, make sure to check your child’s folder. Once you receive the I.D. and password you may log in at www.educationcity.com.
