Character Counts – December/ January
The months of December and January are represented by the color blue and the pillar TRUSTWORTHINESS. Ways to be trustworthy include being honest, being reliable and being a good friend. We also continue to recognize children’s efforts in the areas of Fairness-Orange and Respect-Yellow.We invite parents to join in the efforts of building our rainbow and would like you to give out the colored blocks to anyone you see acting on a Character Counts deed. Together with the help of our campus mascot “Hero,” the students will gain an understanding of the importance of good character.

CHOC Toy Drive
This Friday the campus will have our annual caroling and toy drive pick-up. There will be a presentation with the toys that have been collected for the CHOC hospital to the Harley Riding “Santa’s.” The campus will echo with the sound of approximately 70 motorcycles and the gleams of admiration from all the students as the riders come on campus. We have been lucky to collect as many as 7 big boxes filled with toys in the past and hope to collect the same or more this year. Many thanks to Judy Coderre who organizes this annual event and the Parent board who provides breakfast for the Harley Rider’s.
