Maria Mugica of Whole Foods

Due to a family medical emergency, Tanya has re-scheduled her Chalk Talk Presentation to Thursday, January 20th 2011. In her place, Tanya is sending friend Maria Mugica of Whole Foods Market this Tuesday October 5th to share her Whole Foods-inspired tips and tricks about healthy cooking for your family! Maria has vast experience working with Whole Foods, an international company comprised of 270 stores in North America and the United Kingdom, to put on events that introduce families to new recipes and cooking techniques using fresh and organic ingredients. Denim Day

$5 to wear jeans to school

Edgewood is celebrating Denim Day on Friday, October 8th. All grade levels can participate. Bring $5 to wear jeans to school and all homeroom teachers will be collecting donations. All monies collected will go towards the fight against Breast Cancer. This community service project is especially special to the Edgewood Campus because we lost one of our very own teachers, Mrs. Christine James, to cancer several years ago.
